This is the Infinite String Music page featuring the songs and performances of Eric Krise. Here you will be able to listen to or download songs in MP3 format. Eric is a guitar player whose favorite styles of music include Progressive Rock, Instrumental, Classical, Jazz, Blues and R&B. All engineering and mixing is done by Eric and Lisa. We're still developing our concept for this site and are busy recording but I'm getting a little impatient so for fun I though I'd upload some in-process stuff. These are the songs that we are currently working on. The first five songs are cover songs (I'm sure you'll recognize them). Except for Ice 9, these songs were recorded at Naked Ape Productions in Redondo Beach CA using Pro Tools, and in our developing home studio. Again, these songs are all in process and are at various levels of completion (so you may have to tweak those bass and treble controls). I thought I'd upload some rough mixes of these and then update them as more tracks are added. Eric played (and programmed) almost all instruments on the songs heard here. Eric will do some of the singing but for others we're hoping to use some of the vocal talent from Eric's R&B band Savage City

| Led Zeppelin | The Rain Song | For this song, the only tracks left to record are the vocals. This song has five tracks. Two 6 string acoustic guitar tracks, one 12 string acoustic guitar track and two electric guitar tracks. The string tracks are violin, viola, cello and bass. These were done by (painstakingly) typing in each instruments part into music notation software, saving as a midi file and then using a roland JV-2080 sound module for the voices. |

| Led Zeppelin | That's The Way | This song has five tracks so far. Two 6 string acoustic guitar tracks, one 12 string acoustic guitar track and one slide guitar track. The slide guitar may be re-recorded when all the vocals are complete. |

| Elton John | Madman Across The Water | This song has two 6 string acoustic guitar tracks, two 6 string electric guitar tracks and 6 tracks of electric guitar volume swells that are three octaves each, double miked and played simultaneously. On vocals is Neva. This song needs only final mixing to be finished. |

| Steve Howe (Yes) | Mood For A Day | We recorded this using a six string Larrivee, miked with an AKG C3000. This is one guitar, one take straight through. We'll be redoing this one because there's some proximity effect from the mike positioning making the sound too boomy on some systems. This time we'll be using both the AKG and a Fishman pickup. |

| Joe Satriani | Ice 9 | This is Eric covering Satch's Ice 9. We did this while learning how to use Cakewalk and since I only had the demo version, I couldn't save anything that we did. It all had to be finshed in one shot and transferred out to tape. We did it in 6 hours. Even though the sound quality isn't so good (due to learning and I only had a soundblaster AWE32), I think the fun of the afternoon shows in the performance. Guitars, bass and drum programming by Eric. |

| Eric Krise | Enamorata | Let's see, so far we have drum tracks (just a drum machine at this point but I think we finally found a drummer good enough), a (killer) bass track, two electric rhythm guitar parts, double miked and a 6 string acoustic guitar track. To follow is an acoustic solo guitar track and three lead guitar tracks. |

| Eric Krise | #3193 | A classical piece written by Eric for solo guitar, it's sort of a lullabye. Recorded using a six string Larrivee, miked with and AKG C3000. We'll have to redo this one because there's some proximity effect from the mike positioning making the sound too boomy on some systems. This time we'll be using both the AKG and a Fishman pickup. Should sound sweet. |

| Eric Krise | Blues tune | A bluesy number that sounds kind of jazzy at times and rockin at others. On drums is Jorge Rivas, We recorded the drums at Naked Ape, courtesy of Andy Carson. Eric played the bass and guitars. There is an electric rhythm track, an acoustic rhythym track, a slide track and a lead track. We still need to do vocals and then get us a good mix. Eric's R&B Horn band has also picked this up as a song they are doing and will be recording it in the studio and live at the Galaxy theater courtesy of Coach House Records |

| Eric Krise | Untitled Song 3 | This is my favorite! I love this song. Guitars and drum programming by Eric Krise, bass by Larry Watson, keyboards by Steve ??? (gotta find out his last name). This is one of those songs where all we have is a two track mix. We've got some work to do to with this one, redo the drums with a live drummer, dub a bass track over the one that's there since you can't really hear it in this mix and, of course vocals. Still like listening to it. |
